The Singapore Mountaineering Federation (SMF) is the National Sports Association (NSA) that governs and promotes climbing- and mountaineering-related adventure sports in Singapore. The SMF also endorses events in Singapore to ensure that the organisation and safety of such competitions are kept in line with International standards. The SMF is an affiliate to the Asian Climbing Federation and to the United Internationale Des Associations D’Alpinisme, (UIAA) (The International Mountaineering and Climbing Federation), and works in tandem with regional mountaineering federations (Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei, Thailand, and the Philippines).
